Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a writer, actor director, producer, playwright and teacher at St. Thomas University). Her father comes from Britain, while her mother is a "Turkish ex-pat from Cyprus who is now living in England." Anna's earliest memories of attending rehearsals for play and watching her mother's working. Anna was featured in a variety of advertisements when she was a child.
