Anna Paquin was born in Winnipeg and raised in Wellington. She was the first actress to make her acting debut in Flora McGrath, the romantic drama film The Piano. Paquin is a Canadian and actress from New Zealand. Born in Winnipeg but raised in Wellington the city where she was born, she had her first appearance as an actor on screen in The Piano. In this romantic drama, she was 11 years old, Paquin won her second Oscar for Best Actress.
