Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American voice actor, director producer and vocalist. Lucy Liu is a beautiful and clever actor. Numerous Asian actors who are aspiring to become big actors in Hollywood look up to Lucy Liu. After a series of appearances on popular television series, she became famous for her role on the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she portrayed Ling Woo. Her sudden fame translated into movie roles, such as Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. The actress then gave an amazing performance in the role of Japanese criminal O'Ren Ishii as part of Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. In the same time frame, she played the lead in some failures on the box-office such as Rise: Blood Hunter. Then she began voicing characters from animated films like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia and other small-screen parts, did not achieve much success. Southland is a critically-acclaimed series of police dramas that included Liu in multiple parts, helped to establish her role as an actress. Liu chooses her roles carefully so that she doesn't get stereotyped within an industry which is extremely competitive. As much as she loves her culture however, this has not hindered her when it comes to her career as an artist.
